Mike Canino

Mike is the author of the Amazon bestselling fly fishing book: Simple Nymphing for Trout in Rivers and Streams. Mike is also the creator of Simple Fly Fish – an educational fly fishing company aimed to simplify fly fishing for all anglers. Mike has worked in fisheries biology for six years in Alaska and on the East Coast, has a B.S. in Marine Biology, and currently lives in Upstate New York near the Catskill Mountains. Mike’s fifteen years of experience targeting trout across the Northeastern and Western U.S., New Zealand, and Scotland, allowed him to develop and perfect universal trout tactics and approaches that fly fishers can use anywhere.

Cameron Buglione

Cameron served as President of his fly fishing club at Bucknell University in Central Pennsylvania and is also an avid fly tier. Cameron was the editor of Simple Nymphing for Trout in Rivers and Streams. Cameron is most passionate about hunting large trout with streamers, and developed the techniques and strategies in the streamer book over the past ten years fishing across the United States. Cameron and Mike are childhood friends and both grew up in Upstate New York learning from, and continually pushing each other to advance their fly fishing skills on the Beaverkill and Delaware rivers. Cameron currently lives in Denver, Colorado, and you can find him on the South Platte River refining new streamer fishing techniques and experimenting with new streamer patterns when he is not at his day job as a Management Consultant.
